Core Measures Data

Core Measures describe the fundamental things that should happen while patients and their families are in the hospital based on research and national standards. The core measure score is based on 24 of the hospital quality measures and shows the percentage of patients who received the recommended care for all of the measures that they were eligible to receive.  The national target is to achieve 90% compliance and only a small percentage of hospitals have achieved this goal.  Stanford Hospital & Clinics has become a leader in this area.
