My interest is in improving systems practice, quality improvement, and patient safety, often utilizing various tools from medical simulation that can translate to clinical changes. Most recently, I have collaborated with Stanford and national colleagues on implementation of emergency manuals (context relevant sets of cognitive aids or checklists), for crisis management of critical events.
