Biography

As an anesthesiologist, pain medicine specialist, and clinical epidemiologist, my research interests span development of novel psychotherapeutic interventions at the intersection of pain, prescription opioid addiction, and psychology. As an NIH-funded researcher I am working to develop novel interventions (behavioral, medical technology, medical device) to prevent continued pain and opioid use after surgery. My clinical interests include treatment of chronic pelvic pain conditions including painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis, endometriosis, pelvic floor myofascial pain, pudendal neuralgia, peripheral nerve entrapments, pelvic adhesions, vulvodynia, and chronic constipation.

I appreciate the excellent friendly care I received from both Dr Hah and Dr Liao. They were wonderful.
She is excellent. She heard and addressed everything. Her questions, clear understandable explanations, clear directions and guidance were very useful. She really listens and helps. She also sent me additional information so I can think it through and decide. She also contacted others in the Pelvic Health Team to get information I needed. She connected me to the right people and formed a good team to help me at Stanford and I am ever grateful.
Dr Hah was very nice, thorough, took the time to listen and made sure all of my questions were answered before we ended the visit.
She goes out of her way to be understanding and treats you like a person who matters, not just another numbered patient.
Dr. Hah seemed well informed about my case and remembered details of my medical history. She made sure I understood the reasons for the recommended next steps. Her explanations were very clear. Looking forward to continuing treatment with her.

Dr. Hah is very personable, experienced and respectful. She gives her opinion but listens to what you want as well. I think she is great!
She is very thorough, available to answer questions
Dr Hah is an excellent clinician and is sincere in helping me with my chronic pain. It’s my sense that the healthcare system in general (including Stanford’s) is overwhelmed. My frustrations with getting faster resolution of my chronic pain may been shown in our video visit this morning and she handled the situation quite well. Chronic pain (going on 2 years now) can really take a toll both physically and mentally.
I’m so grateful to be seen at such an amazing facility. I feel like I’m being cared for properly, it’s comforting to know I’m in excellent hands

Dr. Hah was great!
Dr. Hah was so patient with answering my many, many questions. I really appreciated her time and that she takes a “team-of-experts†, approach to my care. I would not hesitate to refer her to anyone I know.
Absolutely no questions were asked by Dr. Hah about my medical history, experience with pain, goals, etc. I was given a cookie cutter plan and told we didn’t have time to go over options in any detail.
Dr Hah is fantastic. I wish she didn’t have such long return schedules out :)
Dr. Hah was very thorough, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate.
Dr. Hau is knowledgeable, yet humble and kind! She’s a treasure!
I have and will continue to do so!
Very helpful and thorough
She is excellent, well educated with lots of suggestions/advice for TX options. Easy to talk to, listens to my concerns..
Wonderful provider! Friendly , knowledgeable, and even though a year between visits remembers every detail of who patient is. She makes me feel comfortable and wants me as a person not just as a body on her files. Lol jk She makes me feel special and like a one on one friend telling her comfortable personal things not wondering if she’s judging why I’m feeling the pain and having issues. I love having her as my dr
Extremely qualified in her field. Excellent communication skills. Very professional.
Dr. Hah is the BEST.

Must add: my doctor did an excellent assignment finding a injury to my right elbow that needed x ray an physical therapy. This was in addition to my appointment for pre op medication therapy. Thank you!

I've seen Dr. Hah twice. She's been exceptional both times. She listens well, shows compassion, discusses treatment plans/options. Seems highly knowledgeable. I'd like all my doctors to be just like her!
Dr. Hah was great. I told her about my fear of needles and how my anxiety goes up during med. procedures. She asked if I wanted a nurse to come in and talk to me as a distraction during the procedure. I thought that was great.

It seemed to me that Dr. Hah had no clue what the follow up care was nor did it seem to be noted on the computer.
Dr. Hah spent an exceptional amount of time with me to make sure I had the best procedure for my problem & that it was done correctly.
Dr. Hah can speak very quickly using medical terms that are difficult to understand.
