Survivorship: A Role for Integrative Medicine

This lecture will provide cancer survivors and their support networks with a basic understanding of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) and Integrative Medicine (IM) principles and practices. We will discuss how IM and various CAM modalities might best be applied to support patients and their caregivers in all stages of care. We will consider several areas of ongoing research and offer concluding remarks and recommendations to help individuals optimize quality of life.
