Hospitality Services
Hospitality oversees key areas that help to improve patient experience. From food services to hospital housekeeping, hospital facility management all the way to patient transport and patient equipment management within hospital buildings
Facilities Infrastructure & Safety
Facilities Infrastructure & Safety is responsible for keeping all Stanford Medicine facilities state-of-the-art and fully functional, while also ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Ambulatory Facilities & Activations
Ambulatory Facilities & Activations drives facilities throughout the life of a facility. Activations & Operational Integration drives the successful launch of new clinical spaces and the renewal of existing spaces. Site Support Services provides maintenance, engineering, project management, customer coordination, vendor coordination, and housekeeping services for the ambulatory clinics and administrative buildings across the Bay Area.
Sustainability Program Office
The Sustainability Program Office advocates for and supports initiatives that reduce Stanford Health Care’s greenhouse gas emissions to achieve 100% carbon neutrality.
Facilities Planning & Design
Facilities Planning & Design aims to create and improve the spaces where care happens, from the planning, design, and entitlements of new construction, to the ongoing day to day management of space use.
Facilities Construction
Overseeing the growth and improvement of Stanford Medicine, Facilities Construction manages construction of new and renovated facilities across the Bay Area.

Real Estate, Transportation & Strategy
Supporting the strategic growth and ongoing operations of Stanford Medicine in three areas: Real Estate & Transactions, Transportation & Grounds, and Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives (BOSI).
Real Estate & Transactions handles market strategy and execution of leases, purchases, and documents. Transportation & Grounds oversees parking and transportation for Stanford Medicine, sustainable transportation programs available to staff, and maintenance of the exterior grounds and gardens for the adult hospital and larger ambulatory clinic sites. BOSI supports all of Facilities Services with budgets, staffing requests, purchase orders, invoices, strategic projects, and more.
