Stanford Health Care leads the way in providing Express Care services to patients in Palo Alto and the surrounding area. Our Express Care clinic offers same-day appointments for non-emergency care that requires quick attention 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.
Stanford Express Care is ideal when a hospital emergency department visit isn’t appropriate but your primary care doctor’s office is closed.
Our modern, state-of-the-art Express Care clinic gives you convenient access to care for a cold, cough, sinus infection, sore throat, earache, and fever. We also treat cases of the flu, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting, plus urinary tract infections and minor aches, pains, sprains, strains, cuts, and burns.
In addition, for patients 18 years and older who have visited a Stanford Express Care clinic at least once previously, we offer video visits for a wide range of conditions. If appropriate, you can schedule a video visit through the Stanford Health Care MyHealth app.

BILLING INFORMATION
Most standard insurance plans are accepted. Your express care visit will be billed as an office visit (not an emergency room visit). Payment of a copay may be required at the time of visit. Hospital and professional fees may also apply for additional services like medication/vaccine administration or lab/radiology services, among other procedures. You will be billed separately for any additional services.
