Our team provides an evidence based approach to treat patients with substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Resources for ongoing care include medication assisted treatment, for example, buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), naltrexone, disulfiram, varenicline, etc. Treatment at the Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic begins with a complete diagnostic evaluation.

Expert Care in Treating Addiction Concerns
The Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic is comprised of experts with experience treating patients with many different types of addiction, including behavioral addictions. Our team provides an evidence based approach to treat patients with substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Treatment begins with a complete diagnostic evaluation. Resources for ongoing care include medication assisted treatment, for example:
- Buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone)
- Naltrexone
- Disulfiram
- Varenicline, etc.
The Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic offers a number of different once weekly therapy groups for patients in all stages of recovery, and has some availability for individual therapy. Referrals may be made to higher levels of care in the community when needed, such as day and residential treatment programs for addiction. All patients at the Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic are seen together with medical trainees, including medical residents and fellows.

Patients, family, and doctors may speak directly to a psychiatric intake coordinator who will route each patient to the most appropriate specialty area. The coordinator will also assist in obtaining insurance verification and pre-authorization as needed.
