Information on the Nursing Union Work Stoppage at Stanford Health Care and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital
Stanford Health Care and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital are currently in contract negotiations with the nursing union, Committee for Recognition of Nursing Achievement (CRONA). CRONA represents approximately 4,700 nurses at Stanford Health Care and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. On Monday, April 25th, union-represented nurses began a planned work stoppage that will continue until a contract agreement is reached. During this time, both hospitals remain open and our community can continue to count on the safe, high-quality care it has come to expect from our hospitals. Both hospitals have secured the services of licensed, qualified, experienced replacement nurses to work alongside other members of our patient care team. We continue to work toward an agreement with CRONA that our nurses can support and be proud of. For more information on the negotiations, visit StanfordPackardVoice.com/community.
