The Stanford Center for Clinical Research staff have been working around the clock to start up and implement the most innovative COVID-19 clinical trials coming to Stanford. Lori Panu, a clinical research manager, received a special Easter gift from her brother to share with the team: a giant dark chocolate bunny wearing a mask and delivering edible messages of gratitude for health care workers’ efforts.“The whole department is working so hard to ensure these trials are up and running in record time,” Panu said. “It’s exciting, but it’s been 24-7 work for most of us.”
