Patient Access Rep Lead
Stanford Health Care
"I am a part of Patient Access Services, or Revenue Cycle, and our Directors recently saw the video that is circulating from another hospital that is having their employees have their picture under their badge. Since we are all masked up and patients can’t really see our face, our Directors believed it would be an amazing idea to also show our picture and make patients feel more comfortable when going to Stanford. As far as I know our department is the only one doing this, but I haven’t heard anything negative to come from it. At the end of the day it is about our patients and making them feel at ease, so showing patients that we are actual human beings and not just masked drones or something like that is a beautiful thing."
