"In these uncertain times, spiritual services chaplain Taqwa Surapati has been inviting hospital staff to join her each day for a few minutes of fresh air and tai chi breathing among the tulips in the Bing Garden. She calls it “Tulip Breathing,” which is a little bit of a joke since tulips have no smell.
“We appreciate the nature, heighten our senses and take strength from beauty,” Surapati said. “It’s almost like a sacred time at those moments.”
