Leading Urologic Care and Research
Our team evaluates and treats all types of male infertility and conditions that affect male sexual function. We use therapeutic, medical, and surgical approaches to help men with a range of concerns, including erectile dysfunction (ED) and Peyronie’s disease (penile curvature). Doctors at the Stanford Health Care International Azoospermia Center provide leading-edge care for men with azoospermia (absence of sperm in the semen).
At our Pelvic Health Center, urologists, gynecologists, and gastroenterologists work together to develop individualized care plans. We offer effective nonsurgical treatments to improve pelvic health, including electrical stimulation (e-stim) and biofeedback. We also use advanced robotic surgery techniques to treat pelvic floor dysfunction. At our urodynamics laboratory, we diagnose and treat all types of urinary tract disorders using sophisticated imaging technology and the latest equipment.
General Urology
Our team has experience preventing, diagnosing, managing, and treating the full range of urologic conditions, from common to complex. We offer the latest nonsurgical and surgical treatments and provide comprehensive follow-up care and support.
Our expertise includes treatments for:
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH, or enlarged prostate)
- Complex kidney stone disease
- Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Upper urinary tract obstruction
- Urinary incontinence
- Urinary retention
Our team offers advanced care for all types of urologic cancer. We have extensive expertise in robot-assisted surgery and nonsurgical ablation to treat kidney and prostate cancers. We also specialize in bladder reconstruction and other surgical treatments for bladder cancer. Our oncology and urology experts use a multispecialty team approach, collaborating to deliver complete, coordinated care.
Our urologists use MR-guided imaging to accurately and precisely screen for prostate cancer. We also offer focal therapies, such as cryotherapy, laser ablation, and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to treat prostate cancer. These procedures target abnormal cells while sparing healthy surrounding tissue.
