Biography
Maria Aleshin, M.D., is Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology, Director of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinic, and Co-Director of the Inpatient Dermatology Consult Service at Stanford Medicine. Her clinical interests include hidradenitis suppurativa, complex medical dermatology, and inpatient dermatology. Dr. Aleshin received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her M.D. from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed her dermatology residency at UCLA, where she also served as Chief Resident in her final year.

Was very knowledgeable about my skin condition and explained what the problem could be. She asked questions to get a sense of what was happening and then provided a prognosis. She performed a procedure to confirm or deny what she thought it could be. She included an explanation and together we decided what was the for me moving forward. She’s an amazing doctor and has a great team.

The dermatology was wonderful, the boys draw was awful i specificity told them the vaina trend to hide that they need to be fast and precise, the girl said yes yes but she didn't get the vain and start digging around that hurts a lot so, another person had to do the draw after she put me thru he'll Auth the pain

Dr. Aleshin has an excellent bedside manner. She listens, expresses concern/interest, is thorough, explains things well, and is very gentle when extracting a biopsy, or freezing a growth. I highly recommend her!

The dermatologist apparently forgot that I am a PHYSICIAN, using lay terms in reference to the three lesions in question...rather than discussing them with me as a colleague..

I had another issue I wanted to have taken care of that exceeded the appointment time and she made an effort to take care of it so that I didn't have to come back another time.. She thought about the amount of travel time I had to come to the clinic, without me saying anything about it. She was extremely thoughtful, considerate, and accommodating
she was very kind and thorough! she made sure all of my questions was answered and all my concerns were addressed. when I was showing her my back, she noticed a mole on my shoulder right away and asked if it was okay for her to exam it!
