I was having difficulty finding a doctor who could understand the complexity of my health issues. Dr. Apte is a blessing to me because he has taken the time to get to know me and my medical idiosyncrasies. I was thrilled to have him on my team when I went through a tough situation in the fall of 2021.
My first “real†visit with Dr. Apte. I hit the jackpot!
He was nice to apologize for running late. He was rushing my visit and it will be interesting to see if he bills me for 10 minutes or 20. The visit was barely 5 minutes and I couldn’t even complete sentences when he was asking questions. I think he cared but since I couldn’t see him and he was in a rush, the visit seemed quick. I think he had patients waiting and had to go see them.
I love my new doctor, the receptionist was very nice, the offices are beautiful!!

I particularly like his "whole" patient approach, thinking about the big picture while at the same time asking me questions to help him better understand what is going on and the best course of action. I'm not a passive patient so I really like the feeling that we are a team, figuring things out. I also appreciate that I never feel rushed. He takes the time needed to have a meaningful conversation.

Dr.Apte and Stanford Heath Care are, in my opinion, the best health care providers in the Bay Area and, possibly, the Inited States. Dr. Apte always does a thorough examination; he is empathetic, caring and treats me (the patient) with the utmost respect.
Appt was at 9:40am; he got on at 9:55a. I know it's hard to stay on schedule, so I'm not annoyed about it. He also stayed on 5 mins past the meeting end time to finish up, which was nice.

When Valley Care physicians switched from Hills to Affinity we had to change our primary physician to a Hills provider. After a few years we realized this was a mistake so switched from Hills to Affinity (both Health Net) and are VERY HAPPY to be back w/Dr. Apte.
