Dr. Bahrani is a family medicine physician. He provides care for patients of all ages at Stanford Medicine Partners – Emeryville Family Medicine.
His clinical interests include sports medicine, pediatrics, osteopathic manipulation, and preventive health.
Dr. Bahrani was born in Oakland and is excited to serve the community. He completed his residency training at UCSF Fresno. He also worked as an emergency room technician in Hayward and an emergency medical technician (EMT) in San Leandro.
His research experience includes serving as co-principal investigator of a study of how to teach preventive health topics to medical students. He presented his findings at the National Association of Community Health Centers conference. He also contributed to a study of the use of ultrasound to diagnose arm fractures.
Dr. Bahrani is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and other professional organizations.
He has volunteered at sporting events, health fairs, and schools. He provided sports medicine coverage, blood pressure checks, and education about healthy eating and lifestyle habits.
Dr. Bahrani enjoys spending time with family, playing basketball, watching the Warriors, traveling, and golfing when not practicing medicine.
He is fluent in English and Farsi and proficient in medical Spanish.
