I find her to be a good listener, she answers my questions directly and uses language that I can understand--she does not talk down to me but uses the medical terms and if I don't understand I ask. I appreciate this. She is good about details and also has an overall picture of my issue. I would highly recommend her if I knew of anyone having similar issues to mine.

I credit Dr. Deepti Dronamraju for saving my life! She is the best doctor I have ever had and wish my primary doctor was half as excellent as she is. I went to ER because my eyes were yellowing and the ER doctor sent me home after dropping a bomb on me that I have what he stated “alcoholic Cirrhosis†. I was in shock to learn this especially because I am not a drinker at all and the last time I did consume was in 2012. He referred me to a GI which refused to see me until my insurance was taken care of. My husband found Dr. Deepti by researching stanfords liver clinic and I seen her over the phone about three weeks later which was still sooner than the GI doctor was able to see me by a week! Dr. D seen me over a video call and said I looked sick and in the amount of time that had passed from being diagnosed I should behave been doing tests. She suggested I come to the ER which I did that day and ended up staying five days and going through many tests. My meld score was 25-27. Slightly over a year later my liver functions normally. I credit this to Dr. Deepti’s work and guidance. She did the work and found that I have autoimmune hepatitis not alcoholic cirrhosis big difference! I am so appreciative of her and credit her for saving my life! I hope to continue to see her because I feel as though she truly cares and is so knowledgeable that I don’t want to be in anyone else’s hands!
