was immediately told it "shouldn't have made it past the referral team" and "it doesn't sound like a neurology issue". This coming less than a minute into the appointment and knowing the fact I still have to pay for this visit wasn't great.
I would have liked a more thorough, in-depth explanation of EMG/NCV tests. I received a good overview and a much - appreciated referral to neurosurgery. Dr. Dearlove seemed a little rushed today.

Dr. Dearlove took her time to listen to our complicated medical history, to do examination, and to explain the findings and the treatment options. Her diagnosis is precise and complete. After the visit, I have confidence and understanding and control over my health. The drugs that Dr. Dearlove prescribed have immediate positive effect, unlike many other drugs that I tried before. She also thought of something that others didn't and ordered blood test to check for it. She then followed up with another prescription which is working really well for me. I am extremely happy with the visit!

I came here from Ky. to see a Dr at Stanford for Restless Legs. I have had the condition for about 25 years and it is getting worse. I researched the internet and thought Stanford could maybe help me. My first visit with Dr. Dearlove seemed productive. She was very nice, and seemed thorough. This second appointment was disappointing. She made me feel like she was hurried and didn't have time for me. The physician assistant which was a student, came in to see me first, was discussing my problems. He was very interested in my problems, asking me a lot of questions. Was very thorough. He said we would talk about my issues and Dr Dearlove would be in to discuss everything we had discussed together. He started to do an exam, Dr. Dearlove came in the room, discussed a few issues with me, hurriedly. I felt like I had to rush to tell her everything.She then said to the other Dr. ,we need to hurry up, we have another patient who has been waiting! The physician assistant didn't even get to finish his exam. I was quite upset over this whole issue. The assistant did a great job, but I was disappointed in the Dr. I realize the student was helping her out to make the appt. go quicker, but when she came in, she almost didn't give him time to tell her what he had talked to me about. Also, I drove 2 hours to get to Stanford, and then felt rushed with the doctor. I have only heard good things about Stanford Health and thought they may be able to help with my condition. I am just being prescribed medications, which I could probably have gotten in Ky. Quite disappointed.

she was disorganized and didn't know anything about my case. she was friendly, however I wasn't there for friendliness. I am there to seek help, a care plan, understanding. she seemed to not take my condition serious or expressed zero concern.

Dr. Dearlove is a top quality professional and incredibly knowledgeable in her field of expertise. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
Was disappointed at our last meeting but later felt better when she called.
Care provider did not give me great information about my problem/condition, but she did explain very clearly what followup steps were needed so we could figure out a diagnosis, and gave me very clear and easy to follow instructions for scheduling. So even if the 'explanation' question were worded differently, I'd be able to give a much higher score.
I refer to Dr. Dearlove. The resident was not quite as good as Dr. Dearlove.
