Very nice & helpful - Thank you!
clear as a bell! never intimidated me of my embarrassing location of my cyst.
This was my first time with Dr. Dickman. She was very reassuring and very informative. I will repeat with her and refer others to her.
all were great, functioned as a good team, they made this a good visit.
Laura was GREAT at removing my stitches. Very reassuring how good the incision looked.
Dr. Dickman is AMAZING, very caring, talks so you can understand what she is doing or needs to do, doesn't throw out all the medical terms nobody understands but doctors; very nice she explains in layman's terms so it's easy to understand.
Dr Dickman is a pleasure to interact with.
Dr. Dickman is very friendly, professional and patient. She takes her time examining my body and listens to any questions or comments. I never feel rushed with her.
Dr. Dickman is an excellent dermatologist. Very thorough and is very understanding of her patients. Spends the appropriate amount of time addressing all of my issues. As a result I have a very good understanding as to how to address my skin care issues on my own. I have recommended Dr. Dickman to others.
The caregiver spent the allotted amount of time for the visit!
I was disappointed in the care of my Dr. She seemed rushed, did not take her time to include me in treatment opinion. Overall appointment lasted 8 minutes.
Excellent doctor. Glad I found her.
AMAZING experience!
Dr. Dickman is a wonderful doctor. She provided clear, helpful information and showed great concern about all issues I raised. I would highly recommend her.
good experience
dr. dickman is excellent, CARING, and helpful. I wish I did not have to WAIT so long to get an appointment.
Dr. Dickman is an excellent doctor. She is very friendly and listens patiently to any concerns or questions. She gives a thorough examination without feeling rushed.
Outstanding service. EXCELLENT.
Dr. Dickman is as good as they get. Stanford is fortunate to have her as am I.
Excellent patient care.
Excellent care. Dr Dickman listens well to me and responds to my concerns in a very caring manner.
I feel well cared for.
I had 2 appts the same day and you fail to identify the specific appt each survey should pertain to so this survey here should be used re the dermatologist I saw.
The appt was very fast, but I didn't really have a lot to discuss
the Doctor didn't read the questionnaire I filled out in the waiting room. my appointment with the doctor lasted exactly 3,5 minutes even if I needed to have my numerous moles checked, and even if I had rash in 4 different areas of my body to show her. She gave me the names of the skin problems I had but didn't explain what it was and didn't pay attention to the fact that English is not my first language which makes it even harder to understand. It's the first time I am worried after my moles have been checked (I've had mole removal in the past and my moles need to be checked thoroughly every year), because there is no way any doctor can check moles on the entire body in less than two minutes. Some areas were not checked at all. I am very disappointed and won't come back to see this doctor.
Dr Dickman makes sure you understand and then respects your decisions
Dr. Dickman is very professional and gives excellent care.
the doctor was exceedingly knowledgeable and efficient. diagnosed my problem and handled the treatment with speed and care.
Excellent in explaining your problem in language you understand. Very good at finding growths, etc. All of this in view of Stanford's strict control of facetime with patient is a real accomplishment on Dr. Dickman's part. Thanks!
Dr. Dickman is very friendly and professional. She took her time examining me and listened patiently to my questions and comments. I never feel rushed at my appointment which is very important.
Practitioner seemed in a hurry.
very pleased
Excellent!!! She is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN "DIAGNOSIS" & "TREATMENT". THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN AMAZING! She always answers any questions on your mind. I never thought my condition would be treatment or brought under control.
I appreciate recommendations on how to care for various issues on my skin. Very responsive to my concerns!
I am a 3d stage melanoma survivor. Dr. Dickman has, at each appointment, carefully examined me and explained why the small difficulties I'm experiencing are happening. I feel we are a team.
the best experience, excellent care.
The Dr. was in and out in under 10 minutes. She asked if I was protecting myself from the sun. I answered, truthfully, 'no'. She said at least you're honest. That's all. no advice, suggestions or recommendations. I was taken into the exam room early, seen right away, and she left very quickly. The exam was fairly through, I guess. She did answer all my questions.
She (provider) was v. professional, and friendly. She spoke w/knowledge & confidence.
This was a follow up appointment. The doctor focused on a particular skin treatment I had undertaken since my last visit, which was good. Then she asked if I had anything else to cover with her. I reminded her that she had frozen some spots on my scalp during the prior visit, which prompted her to look at them. I would have had more confidence in her if I had not had to ask. Also, she asked when I had my last full body skin check (which had been done by another Stanford doctor). I remembered that it was 10 months ago. She indicated I should schedule another one in 6 months, and also said having them annually was probably the right frequency. In July, it will have been 16 months since my last full body check, which was inconsistent. I am ok with this, but am noting the inconsistency. The doctor was friendly and encouraging, but I felt a little like I was being dispensed with quickly.
Dr. Dickman was professional, personable & informative. She made my visit pleasant. She was extremely thorough - Love her!!
Only wish other Stanford care providers would be as efficient at Dr. Dickman and Sierra. Solved problem because the spent an extra couple of minutes discussing problem with me in detail. Problem is solved. Seems that when I go to Redwood City or Quarry Rd., this type of customer service is not present--Doctors and PA's are more interested in reducing time spent per patient than solving patients' problems. When Stanford Health Care learns to make the transition from a research institution to a health care provider they will be accepted by the public a lot more.
Dr. Dickman and the PA are both wonderful. Dr. Dickman listens patiently to any concerns and gives a thorough exam. Both of them answer all questions and provide excellent advice when needed.
First time with this provider. Exceptional professionalism.
Appointment did feel slightly rushed but I did still feel like I got all my questions answered
Dr. Dickman is very personable and approachable. Easy to understand her instructions and excellent manner including me in future care plan.
Dr. Dickman is excellent! Competent, thorough, and very friendly. I feel a high degree of comfort with her as my doctor.
Very thorough and patient. Explains and listens to any questions and comments. I don't feel rushed at my appointment.
I love the responsiveness of Dr Dickman to my medical need.
doctor and RN were great
Dr. Dickman is the best. We referred our son to her, and he will be seeing Dr. Dickman in November. Extremely competent and excellent people skills---hard to find these days.
Dr. Dickman was great!! Highly recommended to my family & friends!!
Dr. Dickman is an excellent physician. Highly knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. I felt very confident in her abilities.
Care provider worked quickly, gave little explanation with brief comments.
I love how Dr. Dickman listened to my list of concerns and addressed each one of them.
extremely professional
Dr. Dickman is the perfect blend of medical professional and caring, communicative partner in my health care.
overall a very good experience
This was our first visit to Dr. Dickman. Very happy with her thoroughness, and the time she gave us in answering our questions.
This was my first visit with Dr. Dickman since my previous doctor, (Dr. Yost) left. Dr. Dickman was very thorough and professional. She listened patiently to my comments and questions. I was pleased with Dr. Dickman.
Very thorough, adept, positive experience.
Dr. Dickman is a superstar!
Dr was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. seemed very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
I had a very good experience. The doctor was friendly, examined my skin - all over very quickly and answered my questions. She was through, but patient in explaining the necessity of using sunscreen (did not shame me) and was patient with my numerous questions re: the process of needing to "freeze" a concern on my left temple. She was clear about what to expect and I appreciated that!
The doctor was nice, but I felt a bit rushed. I'd asked for a skin exam but she didn't look at the front of my body, only the back. When we went through the diagnosis, she was a bit rushed, and the MyHealth follow up notes indicated that we'd talked about several things that we actually never discussed.
I was very impressed with Dr. Dickman - very knowledgeable efficient and personable answered all my questions.
The Doctor was kind and courteous and extremely professional. I feel 100% comfortable with the abilities of the provider. Dr. Mullin was great
Dr. Dickman has a great chair side manner and is extremely knowledgeable in her area. The visit was really quite short and quick. I really liked her and felt like she was concerned about my problem. Her recommendations just cemented my positive feelings about her as a doctor. Great personality.
I have already shared with my husband that I really enjoyed seeing Dr. Dickman and that I will gladly follow her to her new location if scheduling allows.
excellent overall appointment
