Dr. Dodd and his staff were excellent in providing information, care and treatment plan to my Cushings Disease. As a mentioned before, he and his staff were incredible about teaching me about the disease and understanding the MRI that was provided to him by my primary care physician. He was kind, soft-spoken and very easy to understand. He listened and answered all our questions (my husband was on the call as well) and spoke in a language that was easy for us to understand. He also mentioned working with Dr. Ketznelson in regards to treatment and approach and I'm glad He is working with a team with other Doctors and experts in their field in regard to my disease. It's truly comforting that some Doctors and eager to share patients diseases and health issues with other doctors as we have found out this Cushings Disease is tricky to diagnose and treat. I am happy to be working with Dr. Dodd and his colleagues as I start my healing process from this disease that has been so debilitating to me for many years. Dr. Dodd is an excellent surgeon and really knows what he is doing. He is kind and compassionate with his patients and takes his time explaining procedures in great detail in layman terms that are easy to understand. I am truly afraid to have the next procedure due to the risk factors involved, however have high faith in Dr. Dodd that I will come out alright with it in his most capable hands. I feel blessed to have found Dr. Dodd to take care of me with this ultimate decision in surgery and appreciate his approach is always saying that the choice is mine as to whether or not to move forward with his recommendation. What he may not realize is that I take him at his absolute word and am pretty certain he would not even recommend a surgery if he deemed it unnecessary.
