Generally Dr Ford is excellent! Some days are a little more difficult if he's got a heavy patient load that day and can't afford to spend the time on any information I've already sent. Then the visit becomes explaining what's already been done, or him rushing to get a quick resolution so he can deal with his next patient. But I've had Dr Ford as my PCP for many years now, so he's definitely doing something right!

For example, a lab test result will come back with a value or two outside of the "normal" range, and there'll be no explanation or comment, instead, just "Labs are all good." I get the feeling his mind is somewhere else at times. Overall, seems very competent, but you have to reel him in once in a while...

There are 2 things I like most about Dr.Ford. First, he listens to you, which is more than valuable. It is NOT like talking to the blank wall. And second, if you need an explanation for how the system works or help pushing the system along, he will check to see what is blocking things and either move them along himself or tell you what you need to do.

This doctor even messed up my prescription and only put one of the 2 drugs he recommended through. I had to call back several times to get this fixed. He spent under one minute with me and I felt rushed out and not at all confident. I had very bad bronchitis and he didn't even look in my throat or feel my neck. He listened to my lungs for only 20 seconds.

Dr. Ford is a great doctor. My only recommendation would be that he listens more; I didn't feel like I had a space to ask questions or that I could take direction of the conversation. He also answered his cell phone toward the end of our appointment, which abruptly ended our conversation.

Dr. Ford is awesome, but clearly the entire staff is under the gun to get patients in and out as quickly as possible. With a minimum of interaction time. Better have a list of questions ready or else you may not get answers.
