Patricia Garcia, MD is a board certified gastroenterologist and clinical informaticist. She is fellowship trained in neurogastroenterology and specializes in treating disorders of gastrointestinal motility including trouble swallowing, heartburn, reflux, constipation, fecal incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction. She is also passionate about using digital health technologies and artificial intelligence to improve clinician and care team burden and burnout.

Dr. Garcia listened well and provided a thorough explanation of diagnosis and treatment plan.
Dr. Garcia has good bedside manners, especially over time as we have gotten to know each other better. She is thorough, professional, and realistically hopeful while providing accurate information that may or not be "good" news per se. She is usually on time or sensitive to renewing prescriptions so that medicines do not lapse. Her "care team" is very friendly and attentive, and they are in constant contact with her so that my questions or concerns are addressed timely.

I could not have wished for a better GI provider. Dr. Garcia is not only extremely knowledgeable and well-trained but she is kind and seriously concerned about her patients. Dr. Garcia thoroughly reviews all test results prior to our appt. to insure that all bases are covered. Dr. Garcia takes her time explaining everything in detail so a layperson may understand. I find that she takes all of my concerns seriously and follows through on ways to resolve them; I am pleased that she takes my concerns to heart. She and I would prefer to avoid further surgery and her goal is to avoid that. I could not possibly be happier with any other provider. Dr. Garcia is a blessing and I feel fortunate to be under her care and safe with her guidance. She follows through better than any physician I have seen in recent history and does not simply pass it on to a surgeon for an easy way out or another physician to complete what she has begun. Grateful is an understatement for the care she provides. I searched for the best and I found it in Dr. Garcia. I would not allow another GI to treat me; or have tests at another facility without Dr. Garcia's knowledge and specific communication.

I felt that Dr Garcia was caring, engaging and very knowledgeable in her field.
She got to the point of the visit but I felt my weird condition was not factored into her recommendations for testing and said left me to think on this. A doc, for the moment has got to be more creative with me, if possible. Also my tests might have to be done in a hospital setting for now. That is far though for me. Overall seemed knowledgeable and courteous. Told me to message her for questions or let her know if I want to do the recommended tests. She’s esophageal experienced and I also had liver questions and she was not experienced there, which to me, I’m glad she was upfront on that.

pretty booked up as far as scheduling goes. I was, tho, able to get an appointment earlier than expected so I felt very lucky and thankful.

Dr. Garcia is exceptionally knowledgeable. She takes the time to understand my health issues. She answers my questions and comes up with creative ideas for a comprehensive treatment plan. She documents the diagnosis and plan in her visit notes, which are available in My Health.
Dr. Garcia is a very caring doctor. She has warm and welcoming disposition and understands that, at least for me some of the things we talk about are very personal and can be embarrassing and she is always respectful. She knows my history and is willing to tweak treatments to achieve the best results for me.
