SHC Patient, Apr 2018

It has been next to impossible to contact the care provider or his team to address problems following surgery. The care provider and his team seldom responded to messages and brushed off concerns and serious issues that arose. I have never been less happy with the support and concern shown when things went badly after surgery. It is shameful.

SHC Patient, Apr 2018

Everyone talked to us and made sure we felt we understood.

SHC Patient, Dec 2017

Already have recommended this surgeon!

SHC Patient, Nov 2017

Good.

SHC Patient, Nov 2017

Dr. Casey Halpern was great from beginning of my surgery to now (follow up). Everyone who was with me, during my surgery to now has been great!

SHC Patient, Aug 2017

I had more time to talk about my treatment for surgery and therapy.

SHC Patient, Jul 2017

High level treatment.

SHC Patient, Jul 2017

Dr. Halpern was nothing short of wonderful. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, understanding, etc. I trust him to give me accurate and compassionate information.

SHC Patient, Jun 2017

I wish there would be more professionals like Dr. Halpern at Stanford Hospital, compassionate and humane towards patients who are in horrible chronic pain like myself. I wish there would be other patients like Dr. Halpern willing to take any case no matter how complicated it is, and not like other doctors who are just cherry pickers "taking only easy cases."

SHC Patient, May 2017

Dr. Halpern's first attempt to place wires of spinal cord stimulator was unsuccessful. His second attempt was only partially successful. I still have an unexplained puffiness on the spine.

SHC Patient, Apr 2017

Dr. Halpern was brilliant, insightful at identifying alternative diagnoses of my problems that other doctors had not considered. He did a great job of explaining his theories and solutions to us.

SHC Patient, Feb 2017

Very good and helpful.

Dr Halpern really cared about my situation during the visit and took the time to get to know me and I could tell he was very interestered in my medical history before the visit. he even addressed emails I had beforehand visit so he was more prepared

SHC Patient, Aug 2015

I liked the care provider sharing some of his thoughts about his options approaching surgery. I understood that he had been thinking about my particular brain and the variety of choices he could make for the best results. I certainly felt I was seen as an individual by a skilled surgeon interested in more than the expected details of doing the surgery.
