SHC Patient, Dec 2016

The care providers listened to my concerns, but I ultimately felt that the decisions regarding surgery was more heavily weighted toward the Drs. opinion. I can't say that I disagree with this as they know so much more than I do.

SHC Patient, Oct 2016

I'm sure Dr. Lau is a terrific surgeon, but he was difficult to talk with about my situation. I think he believes I clearly don't need surgery and shouldn't have come to see him, it felt like my medical issues weren't... worthy of his time. He did answer my questions very well, though. I'm glad I did a lot of research before the appointment.

SHC Patient, Oct 2016

Dr. Lau showed concern for my pain level.

SHC Patient, Oct 2016

The "care provider" is the best imaginable. Any superlatives would still be insufficient.

SHC Patient, Sep 2016

Dr. James Lau is an excellent MD with outstanding bedside manner and skill and care for his patients.

SHC Patient, May 2016

SHC Patient, Apr 2016

SHC Patient, Jan 2016

The visit was quick for both presurgery and post op he was kinda rude when I ask a question.

SHC Patient, Oct 2015

Dr. Lau's information and recommendation were excellent and was the information that I was seeking. The pre-visit doctor questioned the "hole" in my stomach that was next to my stoma bag. I told him it was my naval. "oops". The student Dr. and student were very professional.

SHC Patient, Aug 2015

Very good experience.

SHC Patient, Apr 2015

I'm going for a surgery with this doctor. I chose him because of his excellent reputation. Questions like this undermine the trust!

SHC Patient, Apr 2015

PA & MD very personable - didn't seem in a rush.
