Biography
Dr. Lin specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, myositis, gout, and seronegative spondyloarthropathies. She received additional training in autoimmune skin diseases and has a special clinical and research interest for psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis, dermatomyositis, cutaneous lupus/systemic lupus. She leads a combined rheumatology-dermatology clinic with Dr. Matthew Lewis in the dermatology department to take care patients collaboratively. Dr. Lin is a graduate of USSONAR (Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists) program and performs diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluation and interventions. In addition to her clinical work, she leads the quality improvement effort for the division and her most recent projects are focused on patient-reported outcome in rheumatoid arthritis and vaccinations for patients in the rheumatology clinic.

Dr. Lin was amazing! I could tell that she really cares deeply about her patients. She did an excellent job of answering all of my questions and not making me feel rushed.
Dr Lin answered all of my concerns. I even feel more confident about how my osteoporosis treatment may or may not affect my auto immune issues. Dr. Lin is the most helpful rheumatologist I have ever worked with, and I have seen five in total, all over the country. She genuinely seems to want to get me feeling better whereas everyone else thinks it's fine if I'm merely surviving with no impending organ failure. I got diagnosed with RA in Feb. I was very worried about my condition, future life and has tons of questions after visiting Dr. Lin. I have confidence in my treatment and understood how to manage life with this disease. Dr. Lin read my lab record carefully. Performed thorough exam then provided a detailed explanations about my disease and where my state is. She also considered my preferences when recommending treatment.
