Mostly on the communication side. Couldn't get a straight answer upon check-in about who was making the decision about continuing to mandate masks. Even the "supervisor" contradicted herself instead of stating facts clearly, consistently, and objectively. Then the After-Visit Summary was COMPLETELY off-base from what the doctor said during my visit. Is something getting lost in translation??? I have said it before and I will say it again - until the message is received AND understood: this is HEALTHCARE! MEDIOCRITY is NOT an option!

This provider although not rude, seemed to be in a hurry to get me out. He did exhibit I feel,the CI Cares that Stanford emphasizes so much. He seemed to want to see me as briefly as possible and not want to engage in a meaningful conversation with the patient. Most primary Doctor's examine heart, lungs, mouth etc from my experience. He did not of that. He also had to be reminded to check area of head that I had mentioned earlier. He did say take care and get me a Doctor's note, but otherwise did not seem genuinely caring. I was very surprised considering that Doctor's play such an important role in our lives and do valuable work.
