Biography
Jessica Parkyn PA-C is an advanced practice provider who specializes in Thoracic Surgery. She studied General Biology at University of California at San Diego, and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences. Jessica has spent nearly her entire career in the field of Thoracic Surgery, with close to 10 years of inpatient and outpatient clinical experience. She has subspecialized expertise assisting in the operating room on minimally invasive lung resections, and she has been actively involved in developing lung cancer screening programs at multiple institutions including Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley. Jessica is active in PA education and regularly serves as the supervising PA for students during their Thoracic Surgery clinical rotation.
