SHC Patient, Jan 2018
Healthcare all around the world was charged drastically over the last 20 years. People became care providers because they had a passion to help others. As a society we do not take good care of ourselves. The need for good, compassionate healthcare providers is at an all time high but there are to many people pursuing healthcare for a career and not because they have a calling. I live in a small town just under 100,000 people and most of the physicians in Chico, CA treat you like cattle than a person. It's because of these experiences many people, like me, do not seek out answers/care to they're HC problems. I've only had 3 appt. @ Stanford and each time I am there I am treated with dignity and respect. To value me, like this, allows me to relax and trust the system Stanford has in place. Keep it up!
