Dr. Ratti was not overly welcoming, did not introduce herself until I prompted, and did not seem well-versed in my appointment. I usually see Dr. Tam, but was instructed to follow up with anyone available since Dr. Tam is temporarily out on leave. I had to lead the conversation and was unsure what information she needed to know. She also didn't ask me the standard depression/anxiety assessment I've been asked in the past as a way to quantitate my recent experiences and see if the medication was making a difference, at least not until I mentioned it and then she only asked a few questions. When she asked if I wanted to increase my medication, I wasn't sure how to respond because I was hoping for some guidance on whether I should be seeing significant improvement by now, if my current mood fell in a typical ballpark they expect it to, or how a higher or lower dose might impact my experience. Given the choice, I would not opt to have an appointment again with Dr. Ratti.

She listened, tried a few movements to see if she could find the source of the vertigo - but, most of all, called later to explain they found no physical damage done by the Chiropractor. When I first went to her I thought she was stand-offish, but now realize that it might be shyness. Now that I am a regular patient, she is friendly, professional, and a very caring doctor. There were no decisions to make, No explanations needed. I pointed out one abnormal lab result and requested f/u. Based on all my interactions with this physician I am very unlikely to recommend her to anyone. All prior visits have been virtual and I was thinking that might be the problem so I was glad to have an office visit ...but it didn't change my mind.

Dr. Ratti is direct and to the point. Not the friendly type - "just the facts" kind of person that occasionally edges on abruptness. My case is complicated and involves many specialists and she does a great job in both including me while being the point person in directing my care. I value knowledge over caring.
