As always, Dr. Schechtman is fantastic. It’s why I travel from San Leandro to San Jose to see him for in office visits.
I've been seeing Dr. Schechtman for a long time now. There are so many reasons for this longstanding relationship, but the most important one is his compassion for his patients. We are not just one of many clients he sees in a day. When I visit with him, I get his undivided attention and feel that he is really listening to what I am saying about my health and concerns. He genuinely cares about my problems and really seeks to identify solutions that makes sense. I appreciate his candor and willingness to help. I also appreciate his responsiveness and follow-through. I manage my elderly mother's healthcare and the treatment I receive from Dr. Schechtman and this office can only be likened to the difference between night and day. In terms of quality of care, communication and follow-up - there is no comparison. Thank you for all that you do to ensure my well-being and health. I am so grateful for your continued partnership in this journey called life! Keep up the amazing work :)
Very smart and informative
Dr. Schechtman is the best! I recommend him to anyone asking about finding a new doctor. I live in San Leandro but I drive to San Jose to see him because he’s that good. He doesn’t lecture or treat me like a child. He spends as much time as necessary with me and always asks if I have any questions before ending the visit.

It was such a pleasant first visit, Dr. was extremely knowledgeable, personable, passionate and caring. He covered all areas as needed, answered my questions and I feel he understands my concerns. He also advised me on what and why some of the tests were needed and some aren't. I think I just found myself a great doctor and I am going to recommend him to my family.

Dr Schectman has been gone for a year but was completely up to date with my condition and also immediately noticed I was in more pain - physically and emotionally-than usual. Dr Andrew S. is very pleasant and makes you feel comfortable. He asks lots of questions and you never feel rushed. I spent 45 minutes with him in the exam room because of his inquisitiveness concerning my health issues. I left feel better knowing that he has provided every possible conclusions to diagnose my condition.
I've been with DrSchectman for nearly 14 years. I now live out of the area, but work all over the state still. I go out of my way to maintain my health through this clinic. once I retire, I guess I'll have to change. I'm hoping it will be close to the clinic, but doubt it.
I always feel better about myself after a Dr visit at Family Medicine's office. from the care I am given, I am inspired to take better care of myself.

My family likes our care provider so when he changed srom SCCIPA we followed him and gave up all of our specialists.
Perhaps I gave too many high scores but they are justified!

Dr Schechtman was very thorough and asked many questions relating to my concerns. I did not feel rushed at all. I waited several weeks to make an appointment with him instead of another doctor in the clinic because I feel very comfortable with him.

Dr. Schechtman spends ample time asking questions. He probes into health history, but also asks appropriate lifestyle questions. He's been my physician for many years. We have a good rapport and I value and trust him.
