This was my first video chat with a Doctor and it went surprisingly well. Dr. Telusca is very professional, pleasant, personable, knowledgeable and compassionate. She put me at ease right away.
Dr. Telusca is intelligent, sympathetic, a good listener and explains things well. She has a warmth that made me feel at ease. She also did not merely fall back on routine answers and methods, and we had a good discussion about other methods not offered by Stanford or covered by insurance. I don't require that a physician have all the answers (in fact I'm wary of physicians who pretend to). I would far prefer to hear, "I don't know the answer to that, but I'll find out." Dr. Telusca has that healthy curiosity and openness.

She is also highly skilled like no other pain management doctor I have ever encountered and I have a lifelong disability. Just curious as to why acupuncture wasn't recommended in the interim for pain.
Smart doctor. But does not seem that interested in my case - I have gotten worse under her care & was getting better with my previous fellow.
She seemed very dismissive this time. I had one problem that slightly improved but I still think of as a huge problems she kept saying it wasn't an issue anymore, it was "solved" to her.
Dr. Telusca, in my opinion, is one of the BEST doctors in Stanford Medical system.

I don't plan on going back. She seems all over the place & guessing w/treatment options. I don't feel she hears what I'm saying and doesn't have my long term best interest as a priority.
