I did not feel supported by this doctor and have not felt supported by her since 2021 with health issues as a result of the Covid vaccine. I did not see compassion for me as a patient. This is a shame as I have seen this doctor for many years. I hope she is kinder to others who are suffering from vaccine side effects.

Dr. Vaughan prescribed a new medication for me several weeks ago and I was concerned that I was taking it in the most effective manner possible. As usual, Dr. Vaughan listened patiently to my concerns and provided very thoughtful and helpful suggestions.

Dr. Vaughan is destined for Executive Leadership. Highly recommend for Executive Management at Stanford Hospital. Exceptional Work! Knows how to treat the individual with precision given individual health condition. She has managed my numerous health issues exceptionally. We have caught many issues early that honestly saved my life. Early cancer detection through gastro biopsy that Dr. Vaughan literally saved my life as cancer was caught before it spread. Upper G.I. cancer was Stage 1b. If caught later, it is usually terminal in nature.

Dr. Vauhgan referred to a specialist. It turns out I have risk factors for a condition. Cystologic procedure is scheduled next week at the urology clinic, for procedure that is cleary indicated. I would recommed Dr. Vaughan for any executive position at the Medical School for Hospital such as Chief of Staff, Vice-Chief of Staff or Dean. She is very compassionate and appropriate for each individual patient.
The physician did not diagnose any new problems nor give me any new medications. We discussed a new symptom which she tested for and explained the test results would take about a week. The care provider quickly left the room to call the nurse to give a blood test but did not return except for a quick comment. I had a couple of other questions to ask which I felt rushed to ask when the doctor returned. Overall I would have liked a few more minutes to review my overall health issues.

I would recommend Dr. Laura Vaughan for an Executive Position with Stanford. This would include the Medical School, Chief of Staff, Vice-Chief of Staff or Department Head at the hospital. He is exceptionally adept with knowledge and knowing what is best for the patient at the same time taking the individual factors and concerns into consideration. She is an exceptional Physician.

Dr. Laura Vaughan is outstanding. Detail oriented and orders necessary blood and other tests that literally saved my life in the past when an unexpected early stage cancer was discovered and successfully treated. Dr. Vaughan ordered a holter monitor test at this appointment as it was indicated. Always answers questions I ask on myhealth quickly. I am fortunate to be able to consult with her as the Primary Care Physician as is Jocelyn and Heather Shepardson.

I've been going to Stanford for almost twenty years. I decided to seek a new primary care closer to my house and found Los Altos clinic location. It's small, private, quiet, easy to park and parking is free. Dr. Laura Vaughan is the best primary care I found ever. She is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate, and has a great personality. I would highly recommend her to all of my family and friends.
Dr. Vaughan was very friendly and patient. She did not rush through the session at all. She asked a lot of questions and answered my questions patiently. She also clearly told me the next steps, e.g., ordering tests and referral to specialist. She is really great!

The services I received from the care provider are among the best I experienced in other states before moving to California last year.
We were rushed terribly. Before the doctor had a chance to examine me, there was a knock at the door to inform that the next patient is there. I have never experienced that EVER in any doctor's office. Doctor advised me to request for 40 minutes appt. instead of 20 that was scheduled. Shouldn't the person who scheduled annual exam knew that? The whole appointment was RUSHED and felt very bad at the end. I was not given the prescription requested and the FIT test that was needed to be given. When asked I was told FIT test was out of stock. Many things that went wrong with this appointment.

Dr. Vaughan is the first Lady doctor for Tara. All before were men. I have been around Doctor's and hospitals all my life, mother and wife were both RN's. Doctor Vaughan is extremely professional and very understanding to Tara's condition. I am VERY pleased with the care she provides for Tara!

Dr. Vaughan listened to my concerns about prostate cancer and included me in thought and her knowledge and expertise and ordered a test. In the past she literally saved my life by ordering a endoscopic biopsy that found early stage cancer. By doing this, she saved my life, as the cancer is usually found at a later and terminal stage. I have 100% confidence in her medical knowledge and experience. I am one of a fortunate few to be walking around because of the early diagnosis.

I can not praise Dr. Vaughan enough. She is very knowledgeable and smart but also has such a caring and kind "bedside manner". You never feel rushed. She takes all the time that is needed to discuss any concerns you may have. She is the best PCP I have ever had. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Vaughan. He works very long hours and has an unpredictable schedule. Dr. Vaughan is incredibly flexible with her schedule to try to get him into the office for a visit. My husband has never "liked" doctors. Doctor was very thorough and made great suggestions to address my concerns. Very impressed. Assistant was VERY attentive when I got dizzy after a vaccination. Had me lie down in the exam room and stayed with me until it passed, then let me stay a while longer while she kept checking back just to be sure. Very, very kind.
