Chair Reiki sessions help you relax, reduce stress or discomfort, and decrease pain. In this technique, while sitting in a chair, the Reiki practitioner either gently puts his/her hands on your shoulders, head and upper parts of the body or holds the hands slightly above your body in various positions to help your energy flow more easily. Reiki is very relaxing and often promotes a sense of peace and well-being.
The Stanford Supportive Care Program provides free classes, workshops, fitness classes, services, and support to all neuroscience patients regardless of where they receive their care.
