Mindfulness Meditation in Motion and Stillness
Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment. Seamless integration of gentle meditative movements and mindfulness meditation will be offered in each class. Regular practice of mindfulness is beneficial to our physical and emotional well-being and will promote our potential for self-healing and cultivating self- compassion.
Patients, family members, and caregivers are welcomed. No prior experience is necessary.
The Stanford Supportive Care Program provides free classes, workshops, fitness classes, services, and support to all neuroscience patients regardless of where they receive their care.
