At the Center for Personalized Wellness, we get to know your body, mind, and genes for a transformative experience designed to help you understand your health down to the cellular level, if you so chose. The knowledge, care, and habits you cultivate today can impact you now and deep into your future. Select from our four distinct offerings based on what’s right for you.
Genetic Risk Assessment and Genetic Counseling reviews your personal and family history and helps you determine which genetic tests you may want to take to learn whether you are at an increased risk for any specific genetic (or inherited) conditions. We discuss your genetic testing options including diagnostic or predictive genetic tests based on your family history and the Personalized Genetic Health Panel.
Pharmacogenomics is a new field of medicine that uses genetic testing to analyze the relationship between your genetic makeup and your response to drug treatment—the way a drug will be absorbed and metabolized in your body. Pharmacogenomics may prevent dangerous drug reactions by pre-identifying patients at risk.
