Gastrointestinal Motility Program
Stanford's state of the art gastrointestinal motility program supports one of the largest motility practices in the region. We have a major research effort into the enteric nervous system, pain and stem cell research with an emphasis on translational research. Stanford is part of the NIH funded consortium in gastroparesis. We also provide multidisciplinary care of patients with gastrointestinal motility disorders secondary to co-morbidities such as scleroderma, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, and neurologic disorders.
