Gift of Life Donor
Program, the nonprofit organization serving the eastern half of
Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware, is responsible for
recovering and distributing organs and tissues used in life-saving
and life-enhancing transplants.

you can find support group meetings and other events for transplant
patients, donation awareness events, health education seminars,
events honoring donors and their families, and more.
This unusual procedure, known as a "domino" transplant, occurs when one recipient receives a heart-lung transplant from a deceased donor, while the existing healthy heart of the heart-lung recipient is given to a second patient. The rare procedure has only been performed eight times at Stanford, last in 1994.
