They may be limited to the nail, and they may also be linked to internal diseases. Our team of experts will help you with the diagnosis and treatment of these difficult conditions.

Conditions Treated
Fungal infections
An inflammatory condition caused by a fungus.
Bacterial infections
An infection caused by bacterial microorganisms.
Tumors
A swelling of a part of the body, caused by an abnormal growth of tissue, whether benign or malignant.
Warts
A small, hard, benign growth on the skin, caused by a virus.
Cysts
A sac filled with air, fluid or other material. A cyst can form in any part of the body, including bones, organs and soft tissues.
Psoriasis
A chronic inflammatory skin condition characterized by red, itchy, scaly patches.
Lichen planus
A fairly common inflammatory skin condition thought to be triggered by the immune system.

PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
- New patients should bring their medical records to their first appointment
- Make sure your primary care provider sends any physician notes, laboratory results, X-ray films and other studies or bring them with you to your first visit.
- Bring your insurance card and the name and telephone number of your referring doctor.

When you refer one of your patients to a Stanford Health Care's Dermatology Clinic, we want to assure you that we’ll provide him or her with the same level of personal care you give them.
HOW TO REFER
To refer a new patient, fax the patient referral form with any supporting documentation to 650-721-3476. A Patient Care Coordinator will fax a confirmation of receipt to your office. We will contact the patient and schedule an evaluation appointment upon insurance clearance.
