The Stanford Health Care Pharmacy provides comprehensive services to support the complex medication regimens of patients seen at Stanford Health Care. Located in the Cancer Center in Palo Alto, the pharmacy currently offers medication support for Hepatitis C patients; other specialty areas will be added in the coming year.
Specialized medications for complex conditions, such as Hepatitis C, can be cumbersome to access and follow.
That is why our onsite specialty pharmacists offer the expertise you need to understand your medication regimen and its specific requirements. Our staff can additionally help you resolve issues related to insurance authorization, prescription availability and drug interactions.
Current pharmacy services only support the needs of Hepatitis C patients. In the future, services will expand to other specialty areas such as Uro-Oncology.
The pharmacy also stocks common medical supplies, such as glucometers and blood pressure cuffs, and limited over-the-counter medications.
