Come in for follow-up imaging, lab work, and biopsy
After you have completed your drug treatment regimen, you will need to have imaging or other testing done. These results show your doctor how well the cancer responded to drug therapy.
Managing side effects
Drug therapies can cause side effects, which vary depending on the treatment type, dosage, and length. Many side effects go away when treatment is finished. But some side effects can continue after treatment is finished, and some can start months or even years afterward.
Tell us if you experience problems that may be side effects of treatment. We can help you manage any side effects by prescribing medications or recommending things you can do.
