Risk Factors for Metastatic Brain and Spinal Tumors
Anyone who has a primary cancer in some part of their body like the breast, lung, kidney, skin, digestive system, or reproductive system, may be at risk of metastatic disease. Risks are reduced if the primary cancer is caught in an early stage, responds to treatment, and participates in careful follow-up with their care team.
