Your doctor will likely ask you questions about how the traumatic brain injury occurred and if you are having any symptoms. Your doctor will also likely want to know if you were unconscious after your injury and will ask you questions to evaluate your thought process.
You may need to have X-rays or a CT or MRI scan of your head and neck to assess the extent of the traumatic brain injury.
Clinical trials are research studies that evaluate a new medical approach, device, drug, or other treatment. As a Stanford Health Care patient, you may have access to the latest, advanced clinical trials.
Open trials refer to studies currently accepting participants. Closed trials are not currently enrolling, but may open in the future.
