This year’s Adopt-a-Patient Drive for the Santa Clara County Medical Respite Program’s unhoused patients was a resounding success, serving 50 individuals thanks to the dedication of Stanford Health Care (SHC) staff and departments. Essential items such as wool socks and blankets provided warmth and comfort to some of the community’s most vulnerable members during the winter season. Staff carefully wrapped each item and included heartfelt handwritten notes of encouragement. Continued collaboration with SHC’s Supply Chain and Warehouse teams ensured smooth logistics and supported effective fulfillment of patient needs. These combined efforts brought hope, warmth, and a sense of care to those who need it most.
