Stanford Health Care's (SHC) Community Health and Partnerships recently partnered with Grateful Gatherings (GG), an organization dedicated to helping families transitioning from homelessness to stability. SHC staff volunteered to furnish the home of a family with three young children in the Bay Area. GG’s mission is to ensure that families emerging from crisis have the essential items they need to transform an empty house into a safe, comfortable home. A home is more than just a roof, it’s a space for stability, growth, and security. In addition to furnishing the home, the family’s holiday wishlist was also fulfilled, providing essential items like household basics, school supplies and toys for the children, helping create a foundation where the family can thrive. This support not only transformed their living situation but also brought joy and hope during the holiday season.
