Updates on Melanoma

Melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer, develops in melanocytes, the cells that produce melanin, the substance that provides pigment to your skin and eyes. Melanoma can occur in any part of the body that contains melanocytes. Melanoma is less common than other skin cancers, however, it is much more dangerous and causes the majority (75%) of deaths related to skin cancer. This talk discusses the diagnosis as well as new and emerging research on the treatment of melanoma.
