Nutrition During Head and Neck Cancer Treatment: Blueberry Protein Smoothie
This Blueberry Protein Smoothie recipe is a simple and nutritious meal, great for breakfast or on the go. For an extra thin consistency puree, the smoothie in a blender for longer. When eating a regular diet is hard because of discomfort, smoothies are an excellent alternative because of their smooth texture. Add high-calorie and high-protein ingredients to your smoothies for extra nutrition.
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 medium banana
- 6 ounces silken tofu
Instructions:
1. In a blender, add blueberries, honey, banana, and tofu. Blend to your liking.
To increase the calories in smoothies, add protein powder.
