Stanford's Dr. Daya Upadhyay Discusses Living Better with COPD
01.11.2012
Living Better with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a progressive lung disease that affects millions of Americans every year. Although there is no cure for COPD, what was once deemed to be a disease with a hopeless prognosis is now known to be very treatable. Early diagnosis and treatment can enable people with COPD to take charge of their breathing and regain control of their lives.
Dr. Upadhyay discusses the various aspects of COPD, its treatment, and treatment goals for living better.
Speaker: Daya Upadhyay, MD, Assistant Professor, Stanford University School of Medicine
