This 2-day class covers the physiology of labor and the birthing process. It includes an introduction to the medical interventions used in labor/delivery, overview of cesarean delivery, pain management techniques, and your initial postpartum recovery.

Each student will receive an online virtual consent form via email. Written consent to participate is required before receiving the WebEx invitation to class. WebEx invitations are emailed within 1 hour of the class start time. Written educational materials are mailed out 3-5 days prior to class. Students will receive a 40 minute lunch break.
