Purpose

The NeuRx Diaphragm Pacing System (DPS)® is a percutaneous, intramuscular, diaphragm motor point stimulating device intended for use in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients to provide repetitive electrical stimulation to the patient's diaphragm to contract and move in a manner similar to natural breathing.
