We were interested in keeping the surroundings as comfortable as possible, because anxiety and fear is a huge part of the cancer journey. Making the surroundings homey, welcoming, and inclusive of families was a big part of our thought process. We got to look at the set-up and give our feedback - this chair is too low; this is not comfortable; it wasn't supportive of the back...things like that.
