Business Units
Hospitality
Hospitality oversees key areas that help to improve patient experience. From facilities management, food services, and patient equipment - all the way to patient transportation within the hospital buildings.
Facilities Infrastructure & Safety
Facilities Infrastructure & Safety is comprised of five departments such as Systems Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, and Operational Technology that work together to keep facilities state-of-the-art and fully functional.
Site Support Services
Site Support Services provides maintenance, engineering, project management, customer coordination, vendor coordination, and housekeeping services for the ambulatory clinics and administrative buildings across the Bay Area.
Transportation & Grounds
Transportation & Grounds oversees parking and transportation for Stanford Medicine, sustainable transportation programs available to staff, and maintenance of the exterior grounds and gardens for the adult hospital and larger ambulatory clinic sites.
Space Management
Space Management aims to ensure that every square foot of the Stanford Health Care enterprise is used as efficiently, effectively, and equitably as possible, benefiting patients, visitors, and staff.
Activations & Operational Integration
Activations & Operational Integration is the driving force behind the successful launch of new clinical spaces and the renewal of existing spaces. With each activation, AOI ensures that facility operations run smoothly and follow the highest industry standards.
Sustainability Program Office
The Sustainability Program Office advocates for and supports initiatives that reduce Stanford Health Care’s greenhouse gas emissions to achieve 100% carbon neutrality.
Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives
Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives supports all FS&P business units with budgets, staffing requests, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, strategic projects, and more.
Security
Security is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at all Stanford Medicine facilities.
